The best starting point for a beginner is Les Menuires. Several free magic carpets allow you to try your first slides. Then, from the Les Menuires chairlift you can access the green slope "Montagnette", or from the Roc 1 gondola you can reach the green slope "Violette". Both slopes take you back to your starting point, ideal for practicing gently. Can I buy a pedestrian pass to access the mountain restaurants? Yes, a pedestrian pass allows you to reach the mountain restaurants and enjoy the panoramas. This pass is ideal for those who want to savor a meal at altitude without skiing.
