La Mine, luge sur rails

Previously known as Speed Mountain, Les Menuires’ toboggan run on rails has been revamped to pay homage to the history of the valley’s old mines, opening this winter as "La Mine". The heart of the Belleville valley is home to a fascinating coal mining heritage, whose mines, otherwise known as "M'nuires" gave their name to the resort of les Menuires. Mined by inhabitants of the surrounding villages, these mines represent a rich heritage. You can follow the journey these brave miners took, working hard to transport their precious coal over a 100-metre descent. Jump aboard with them and immerse yourself in the heart of Les Menuires’ Mine! Sit inside your cart and prepare for a high-speed experience that is both immersive and captivating!

Fun and educational, this open-air museum is home to a LEGO® model that will delight visitors of all ages.

For your comfort

The Roc 1 gondola lift on the Croisette now features 76 new cabins, boasting panoramic views and comfortable seats.

To provide passengers with up-to-date information about the ski area, LED screens have been set up in key locations, particularly on the Croisette and at the top of the St Martin Express chairlift.

Energy commitment

Every year, we come up with new innovations to reduce our energy consumption. We have recently replaced compressors and snowmakers with more energy-efficient facilities. At the top of the Roc 1 gondola lift we have also installed 300 m² of solar panels, providing the same production capacity as those installed at the Bruyères chairlift intermediary station in 2020 (60 kW). We are committed to optimising our carbon footprint, whilst providing top-quality facilities.
