From Les Menuires or Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, reach new heights and enjoy a breath of fresh air, soaking up stunning views and exceptional snowcapped landscapes.

Which lifts can you take on foot?

From Les Menuires and Saint-Martin, easily reach your friends or favorite viewpoints with a pedestrian pass. Each lift (round trip included) counts as one section.

Authorized lifts:

Saint-Martin 1 gondola – Saint-Martin Express chairlift – Bettex chairlift – Roc 1 gondola – Roc 2 chairlift – Reberty chairlift – Pointe de la Masse gondola – Bruyères 1 & 2 gondolas – Preyerand cable car – Croisette telecabin

Dogs are not allowed on chairlifts.

Warning: for safety reasons, children under two should not use the lifts, as their auditory and respiratory systems are still very sensitive.

Walks and trails within your reach

Enjoy wide sunlit plateaus and groomed trails for a walk or hike suitable for everyone. After relaxing on the Friendly Menuires terrace (at the Roc 1 gondola arrival), set off to explore the stunning scenery.

  • Montagnette trail (n°5)

  • Bruyères snowshoe trail (n°4) – downhill

  • Girauds trail (n°8) – downhill

Important: the last pedestrian descents are 30 minutes before the ski area closes to skiers.

Put your foot down

Enjoy the fresh mountain air from Les Menuires or Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. Take in stunning panoramas and make the most of every moment on pedestrian-friendly trails.

Ideas for a day out

If you love breath-taking views, make your way up to an altitude of 2,437 metres and enjoy a picnic at the top of Tougnète, before heading back down along the Teppes and Choumes trails as you admire open views over the valley.

At the Roc 1 gondola lift arrival station, take time to relax in the sunshine on the Friendly Menuires terrace, before embarking on a pretty descent towards Les Menuires’ large sunny plateaux.

Enjoy an unforgettable experience during your stay in Les Menuires this winter as you climb up to the Pointe de la Masse in just 8 minutes: admire 360° views from the terrace and relax in the sunshine!

And why not explore the neighbouring resort of Val Thorens via the Montagnette trail (accessible from the top of the Bruyères 1 gondola lift), with stunning views of the Péclet massif.

Are you well insured?

Depending on what needs to be done, on-piste rescue can be expensive. On average, a helicopter rescue costs between €1,800 and €3,000, and an on-piste rescue around €430 (according to carreneige.com).

Can you buy a pedestrian pass to access the mountain restaurants?

Yes, a pedestrian pass allows you to reach the mountain restaurants and enjoy the panoramic views. This pass is perfect for those who want to enjoy a meal at altitude without skiing.

They are allowed, under your responsibility, in all our gondolas, as well as on the Croisette ropeway and the Preyerand cable car.

Which lifts allow dogs?

Dogs are allowed, under your responsibility, on the following lifts:

  • Saint-Martin 1 gondola

  • Roc 1 gondola

  • Pointe de la Masse gondola → Special pass for the Pointe de la Masse area, 1 section

  • Bruyères 1 & 2 gondolas

  • Preyerand cable car

  • Croisette ropeway

Good news: no extra charge is required for their access.
